Storage
- Store devices clean and fully dry, in the drawer, carry case or a closed cupboard.
- Keep equipment out of direct sun and away from sinks and clinical waste.
- Take disposable batteries out of devices you won't use for several weeks.
- Coil cables loosely, never tightly around a device.
- In hot or humid places, keep devices and consumables in a sealed container with a desiccant pack, and check wipes haven't dried out.
Software updates
- ProEX shows a notification when an update is ready. Follow the prompts, or call support if you're unsure.
- The Vision platform updates automatically.
- Carts run Windows 11 Pro. Keep Windows Update on and let updates install outside clinical hours.
- Only connect peripherals Visionflex has approved. Check with us before adding anything new.
Faults and repairs
No Visionflex device has parts you can service yourself. Don't open, repair or modify any device. Take it out of use and contact Visionflex support if:
- it won't power on, pair or be detected
- the housing, screen, lens, cable or cuff is cracked or damaged
- liquid has got inside
- the battery won't charge or shows a fault alert
- readings look wrong, or control results are out of range
- a part is missing
When you contact us, have your site name, the device model and serial number, a description of the fault, and your invoice number for warranty claims ready.
Clean and disinfect a device before you send it back. Repairers can refuse contaminated equipment.
Warranty
Visionflex-manufactured devices carry a 12-month back-to-base warranty from the date of purchase. It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It doesn't cover damage from misuse, unapproved cleaning products, modification or lack of care. Third-party devices are covered by their manufacturer's warranty, and Visionflex support will help you with those claims.
