Welcome to the Visionflex Resource Centre

Your home for virtual care guides, templates and checklists.

What this is: your home for practical guides, ready-to-use templates and quick checklists that help your team deliver virtual care well.

Who it's for: nurse managers, facility managers, care staff, and the executive and quality leads who support them.

Virtual care works best when it sits inside everyday routines, not beside them. This Resource Centre gives your team the tools to make that happen: clear steps for running a consultation, templates you can adapt in minutes, and short troubleshooting guides for when something needs a quick fix.

Everything here is written in plain language for busy people. Take what you need, when you need it. You don't have to read it cover to cover.

If you're new to virtual care in your home, these three are the best place to begin:

What's in the Aged Care section

The Aged Care section is organised into six categories so you can find things fast.

Category What you'll find
Getting started Why virtual care, how it helps you meet the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, and how Visionflex fits your care model.
Setup & equipment Room setup, virtual care equipment and peripherals, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
Clinical workflows How to run each type of consultation: the core workflow, handover, wound care, virtual emergency pathways and more.
Policies, procedures & compliance Editable policy and procedure templates, a readiness audit, and privacy and records guidance.
Communications & consent Ready-to-use consent forms, letters, FAQs and provider emails.
Training & proof Your training pathway, change-management tips, and real stories of what good looks like.

Other settings Visionflex supports, including Rural Health, Remote Health, In-Home Care, Indigenous Care and General Practice, will appear here as their own sections as the Resource Centre grows.

A quick word on what good looks like

Homes that get the most from virtual care treat it as part of clinical care, not a separate task. Residents are offered it by choice. Nurses use it to get faster access to GPs and specialists. Conditions are managed in place, which means fewer avoidable hospital transfers and less disruption for residents. Virtual care can reduce avoidable hospital admissions by around 20 to 40 percent when conditions are managed on-site.

That's the goal this Resource Centre is built to support.
